Mission First Tactical, LLC's (MFT) TEKKO Metal AR Free Float 7" KeyMod Rail System (TMARFF7KRS) metal free float 7" rail system allows secure mounting for MIL-STD 1913 Picatinny Rails and tactical accessories, like vertical grips, bipods, lights, lasers and other rail mounted kits. The KeyMod system allows for universal modularity between numerous manufacturers of accessories and accessory rails.
"We created this rail system for the operator who needs to customize his rifle to a specific mission. That's why it's light, tough as nails and allows tactical gear to be quickly and easily added," said MFT's Vice President David Edelman.
The rail is made out of Type 3 hard coat anodized aluminum. The free floating nature of the rail allows for less torque on the barrel, making it easier to shoot tighter groups. It also provides a larger range of modularity with offset mounting positions, as well as the traditional 12, 3, 6 and 9:00 positions.
The rail was designed to accommodate most suppressor installations. It comes with a patent-pending mounting, indexing and lock up system. It has a monolithic style top rail that eliminates the gap between the receiver and rail. Minor assembly is required. The TMARFF7KRS utilizes standard barrel nut and will allow a standard front sight post, low profile gas block or Picatinny rail gas block. Available in Black or Scorched Dark Earth, the TMARFF7KRS is made in the USA with a lifetime warranty.
